St. George’s Chapel at Long Cove has traditionally hosted Sunday services at 10:00 AM from June 30th to September 1st. Visiting clergy celebrate either Communion or Morning Prayer, and the music varies from organ to harp to guitar to base and keyboard. Flowers are lovingly arranged by parishioners from local gardens, supplemented by “side-roadea.” As one of 18 summer chapels in the Episcopal Diocese of Maine, “the little brown church in the wildwood” will celebrate its 119th anniversary during the summer of 2020.

All visitors are welcome to attend services, although in 2020 we will be hosting Zoom gatherings instead of in person gatherings due to the Coronavirus.  The St. George Chapel at Long Cove is located on Long Cove Rd. off of Rt. 131, eight miles south of Thomaston and two miles north of Tenants Harbor.
