St. George’s Chapel at Long Cove will be open in 2018 for Sunday services at 10:00 a. m. from July 1st to September 2nd. Visiting clergy celebrate either Communion or Morning Prayer, and the music varies from organ to harp to guitar to base and keyboard. Flowers are lovingly arranged by parishioners from local gardens, supplemented by “side-roadea.” As one of 18 summer chapels in the Episcopal Diocese of Maine, “the little brown church in the wildwood” will celebrate its 117th anniversary during the summer of 2018.

All visitors are welcome to attend services. The St. George Chapel at Long Cove is located on Long Cove Rd. off of Rt. 131, eight miles south of Thomaston and two miles north of Tenants Harbor.
